Manchester Dollhouse & Woodworks is proud to present a finely crafted Saltbox style dollhouse in 1:12th scale. It has nine roons, open back, two opening side panels for access to the front rooms, two fireplaces, wood floors, wallpaper, trim & molding, working doors and windows, hand carved bricks, siding and shingles. In addition there are five working ceiling lights and nine working plug outlets with both a circuit breaker and a fuse overload protection. All surfaces are durable non-toxic, and easy to clean. This strong and sturdy one-of-a-kind dollhouse is build to last for generations.

OVERALL

• Nine Rooms (see dimension below)
• Two Stories
• 35" wide x 24" deep x 30" tall (889mm x 609mm x 720mm).
• Built from Home Domicile Saltbox Dollhouse Plans.
• All surfaces are sealed with shellac and top-coated with interior semi-gloss or gloss latex / enamel or polyurethane.
• Two hinged wall panels allow access to the four front rooms.
• Each panel is attached with four 1"x 3/4" face-mounted hinges. Hinges are concealed beneath the siding.
• Walls, floors, and roof are made of 3/8" (9.5mm) thick mdf (medium density fiberboard).
• Shingles, flooring, trim, edging, chimney, fireplaces, doors and windows are made of basswood and poplar.
• Sturdy base frame makes the house sound and rigid and includes a hinged electrical access panel.
• Weighs 70 lbs.

EXTERIOR

• Fifteen working single-hung windows made from scratch. There are no "glass" or plastic window panes.
• One working exterior door.
• Four non-working windows.
• Hand-carved brick pattern in the chimney as well as a secret compartment (which is less of a secret now) beneath the chimney top.
• Wood roof shingles are stained ebony and top-coated with polyurethane for easy dusting.
• Front steps
• Tapered wood siding

INTERIOR

• Ten working doors with "brass" door knobs.
• Two fireplaces with hand-carved brick pattern.
• Fireplace mantels and hearths with carved "tile" pattern.
• Each fireplace is the right size for a "Burning Ember" fire grate and has an electrical plug outlet.
• One staircase with newel post, balusters and railing.
• Closet under the stairs with a working door.
• Finished 1/8" thick wood floors throughout.
• Eight rooms have scrubbable wallpaper.
• Baseboard, crown molding and window & door trim in all rooms.
• One room has wall frames & chair rail.
• Two rooms have wainscotting and chair rail.

ELECTRICAL

• Ceiling lamps in five rooms (all on the main floor).
• Six baseboard plug outlets in six rooms for additional lamps (lamps not included).
• One non-working outlet.
• An outlet in each fireplace for "Glowing Ember" lighted fire simulated light.
• One ceiling outlet above the staircase for a hanging light (light not included).
• Wiring is 32 gauge round wire and all connections are plug and socket type.
• The electrical system is powered by a circuit breaker-protected AC to DC 12volt 10 watt converter.
• Lights and outlets plug into a fuse-protected power strip with an on/off switch, located behind a hinged panel on the back side of the dollhouse.
